Marriage
To marry her, you must first have 10 hearts of friendship. You can increase your friendship level with her by giving her favorite gifts and spending time with her. Once you reach 10 hearts with her, go to the beach on rainy days with 5000 gold and buy a Mermaid’s Pendant from Old Mariner.
After giving that Mermaid’s Pendant to Stardew Valley Abigail, your marriage will be held after three days. If there is any festival in the next days then your marriage can be delayed. Make sure that you have upgraded your farmhouse at least once, Access to the tidal pools (repair the beach bridge), and a Rain Totem if proposing in Winter, as it doesn’t rain naturally.
After marriage, Abigail moves into your farmhouse, bringing her room (with a drum kit and games) and a space behind the house for practicing her flute. Once married, she spends most of her time at the farmhouse, helping with tasks like watering crops, feeding animals, or repairing fences. On rainy days, she might gift mining items like Amethyst or Fire Quartz. On other days, she might offer useful items like Bombs or Crab Cakes. However, she has specific activities on Mondays and Fridays:
- Friday: She spends her morning at Mountain Lake and meets Sam and Sebastian at the Stardrop Saloon in the evening.
- Monday: Abigail visits Pierre’s General Store, the Graveyard, and the Stardrop Saloon.
Divorce
If you want to divorce Abigail in Stardew Valley, you need to visit Mayor Lewis’s house. Inside, there’s a special book where you can ask for a divorce. It costs 50,000 gold, and if you decide to cancel, you have until the end of the same day to change your mind. The next day, Abigail will leave, and her room in your house will disappear. She’ll also become your “ex” and won’t remember being married to you.
If you regret the divorce and want to fix things later, you can visit the Witch’s Hut. For 30,000 gold, you can erase her memory of the divorce and marry her again.
Heart Events
Two Hearts Event
On reaching two hearts, visit Pierre’s General Store when Abigail is present on any day except Saturday. Stardew Valley Abigail is frustrated while playing the Journey of the Prairie King video game there. She will invite you to play alongside her. Whether you win or lose, she thanks you for joining her. Winning or losing the game will not impact your friendship.

Four Heart Event
For this event to occur, you should visit the Mountain on a rainy day between 12 pm and 7 pm in any season but not in winter. Abigail plays her flute in the rain. She will ask you why you’re out in the rain. You have 3 choices to answer that question:
- “Just doing some work” — No effect on friendship.
- “Enjoying the weather” — +50 friendship points.
- “I could ask you the same question” — +10 friendship points.

Then you play music together under a tree and it is a good moment.

Six Heart Event
On reaching six hearts, enter Pelican Town between 9 PM and 12 AM on a sunny and dry day. Stardew Valley Abigail is in the graveyard practicing with a sword. She asks if you’ve ever used a sword. Now you can answer by:

- “Yes, but only in self-defense.” — +10 friendship points.
- “Yes, but it’s dangerous. You should stay safe.” — -100 friendship points.
- “No.” — No effect on friendship.

After this, Pierre comes and asks Abigail to help with dinner. On this, she gets upset because she feels it’s unfair she’s expected to cook just because she’s a girl. Stardew Valley Abigail runs outside and asks you to come along so she can talk about her frustrations.

Eight Heart Event
In the Eight Heart Event, Stardew Valley Abigail invites you to her room to see her spirit board. After receiving a letter from Abigail, enter Pierre’s General Store between 8 PM and 10 PM while she’s inside. The board that she shows you reveals her growing feelings for you. Then she gets embarrassed and quickly asks you to leave. The next day, she visits your farm to say sorry.

After this event, you can present a Bouquet to Stardew Valley Abigail to begin a romantic relationship.
Ten Heart Event
Enter the Mines or Quarry Mine between 5 PM and 12 AM for this Event and meet Abigail. Abigail gets scared by bats in the mines. You comfort her, and she says that she likes you. You can say one of them to her, which will affect your friendship according to your response.

- If you have a Rabbit’s Foot: In Stardew Valley, the Rabbit’s Foot is a rare item that symbolizes good luck. It can be obtained from rabbits in a Deluxe Coop or found randomly in the Traveling Cart or Skull Cavern treasure rooms. If you have Rabbit’s Foot, the bachelorettes gossip about Mayor Lewis and Marnie, and no one gets upset.
- Without a Rabbit’s Foot: If you don’t have a Rabbit’s Foot, All the bachelorettes get angry because you’ve been dating them all. They avoid you for about a week, refusing gifts and giving angry dialogue.
Abigail’s Parental Controversy
There is a theory that Stardew Valley Abigail might be the daughter of Wizard. This is the most interesting mystery in the Stardew Valley. There are many hints in the game which lead to this theory. The Wizard himself says that he might have a child in the town but he doesn’t name anyone. Caroline, Abigail’s mother, admits she used to visit the Wizard’s Tower secretly, around the time Abigail was born.
Meanwhile, Pierre, Abigail’s supposed father, expresses doubts and questions about whether Abigail even resembles him. Abigail also has purple hair, just like the Wizard. She says she hasn’t dyed it in years, but the color never fades. Abigail loves magical things and sometimes hangs out near the Wizard’s Tower.
These little clues make players wonder if there’s a secret connection. The game doesn’t give a clear answer, so it’s up to you to decide what you believe. This mystery makes Abigail’s story extra exciting for players!
